you have strong acids at your facility, storing the
chemicals in a corrosive storage cabinet should be a major
part of any safety plan you set up for dealing with
corrosives. All unsafe acts or conditions should be
corrected to prevent an accident before it occurs. Item CRA-32 Item CRA-47 Procedures should be developed that will be used in emergencies before they happen. What to do in case of a fire, medical emergency, chemical release, or dangerous weather situations (such as tornado watches or warnings) should be included in your plan. Our corrosive storage safety cabinets come in 8 different sizes and these steel cabinets meet OSHA requirements and NFPA Code 30 regulations. Here are some features you should consider before purchasing a corrosive storage cabinet. Each corrosive storage cabinet is constructed of 18 gauge steel. All interior and exterior surfaces, including the shelves are finished in epoxy powder coating. This type of finish is superior to epoxy paint or enamel paint surfaces. Powder coating gives you greater protection in the event of a splash or spill. In addition the shelves and cabinet bottom have high desity polyethylene trays. Your cabinets will last longer then the cheaper ones. The standard features built into each cabinet are detailed here. Our steel cabinets are not recommended for sulfuric, nitric or hydrochloric acids.
