Features of the OptiMax boom include closed-cell foam buoyancy and vinyl-coated skirting. Both are non-absorbent barriers that will effectively block oil, trash and debris. The skirting barrier hangs below the water line 12 inches to keep pollutants from getting under the oil spill equipment boom.

The oil spill equipment boom comes with handles and anchor points.

The OptiMax I & II are made of fully welded 22 oz. PVC material. The vinyl-coated polyester is resistant to UV rays.

Marine grade aluminum connectors that easily connect together. Toggle pins provide the needed strength to create longer lengths and to eliminate weak spots. The OptiMax I & II are available in 50 foot and 100 foot lengths.
