Our Acid Neutralizer Powder Absorbents feature a visible pH color change indicator to signify complete neutralization of acids. The powder also solidifies liquid spills for easy, safe handling and disposal. Made of eco-friendly sorbent materials, this product is easy to transport, dispense and use.

Choose from a number of different size containers and types, including convenient shaker cartons, bag, pail or drums.

This neutralizing battery and acid spill absorbent is ideal for forklift battery changing areas, automotive shops, or any locations handling acids and where spills could occur.

Neutralizes Acids For Fast Response

An acid spill requires immediate action, otherwise, it can quickly result in a major hazmat response by your local fire department. If you have acids in your facility or are a shipping or transportation company that handles them, this product is a must-have. By keeping battery acid neutralizer powder on hand, you can contain and deal to a small spill in about 10 minutes.

Spills can be very dangerous to your employees if they do not have the proper tools to control and clean up acids. This purple powder changes color so you know when absorbed acids are neutralized and safe to pick up for disposal.

Perfect for Small or Large Acid Spills

Our neutralizer powders comes in a number of different container types and container sizes to suit your workplace needs. The handy 5-gallon pails with flip-top lid, or, sealed cartons make it very easy for you to transport and dispense.

For medium spills, the 6.5 gallon bucket features a screw top lid to ensure the powder contents remains water tight. The 20 or 55 gallon plastic re-usable drums absorb up to 22 gallons of acid - ideal for even very large spills.

Order the 25lb plastic bag for a convenient top-up refill solution for the drum containers (beware of other acid neutralizers in bags which can easily tear or get wet).

This battery acid neutralizer is not for use with hydrofluoric acid.

Easy to Use - Environmentally Friendly

This acid neutralizer is easy to train employees to use for safe handling, spill control and clean up. Simply spread the neutralizer on the spill, work product in to the spill with a broom, add more if needed.

When the spill is completely neutralized the purple powder will change color: gold indicates a strong acid; yellow indicates a mild acid; when the mixture returns to purple the spill is a safe PH range.

Neutralizing powder for acid is made of environmentally friendly materials.

Note: The neutralizing process generates heat and foaming gas. Ensure appropriate protective clothing and equipment is worn. Allow mixture to cool before picking it up. Place materials into a leak proof container, label, and dispose of in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
