ORGANIC GRANULE ABSORBENTS

• Limited chemical resistance
• Retrieval is high labor intensive
• Absorbs up to 6 times its own weight

VERMICULITE GRANULE ABSORBENTS

• Too light if used loose (used mainly in socks)
• Can damage machines
• Retrieval is labor intensive
• Expensive as waste
• Absorbs 4 to 5 times its own weight

CLAY GRANULE ABSORBENTS

• Heavy
• Dusty
• Impermeable
