  The
EconoMax Oil Spill
Containment Boom is super lightweight and very compact containment boom suited for
protected and calm waters.
The closed-cell polyethylene foam flotation blocks and vinyl-coated
skirting create an effective, non-absorbent barrier that blocks oil,
trash, and debris.
The skirting barrier hangs below the water line to keep
pollutants from creeping under the spill containment boom. and below the
water line. The galvanized steel chain adds weight and rigidity to the draft
of the containment boom.
The flat panel floats allows this containment boom to be folded
into neat parcels that can easily be stored ready for quick deployment by
hand. The EconoMax is an inexpensive
boom manufactured in fully welded 22 oz. PVC material.
Features marine grade
aluminum slide connectors and toggle pins so you can create longer lengths
without weak spots. This Oil Spill
Containment Boom was originally designed for short duration spill cleanup.
Available in 25 foot, 50 foot and 100 foot lengths.
