Product Information

Our 17-Piece Hazmat Tools Kit includes the essentials for working with and around hazardous materials. This non-sparking set features aluminum bronze alloys with anti-static wood, fiberglass, and insulating grips. These tools are also corrosion resistant and non-magnetic, with a lifetime warranty backing.

Contents come inside a watertight, chemical resistant bucket with a secure, screw-top lid. The removable internal divider helps you separate hand tools for quick, organized access. This case is easy to transport and store. It also doubles as a convenient container for safer handling and disposal of hazardous waste.

Our kit can assist fire department and first responder personnel with hazmat incident clean up. It is an excellent companion to emergency leak repair and hazmat spill kits. Non-magnetic tools are also suitable for sensitive MRI, electrical, and gas detection equipment maintenance.

Suitable for many applications

This multi-purpose kit features an assortment of common purpose safety hand tools. Use them for striking, tightening, cutting and more. Tools are suitable for emergency management operations and working with unknown chemical agents.

Non-sparking tools are ideal for fire protection and emergency response crews alike. Along with personal protective equipment (PPE), every response team requires a quality set of hazmat tools.

Prepare for the unexpected. Keep this kit near other response team equipment, like first aid/spill kits and firefighting extinguishers. These are the essentials for fire service and hazmat response crews to prevent mass casualties.

Quality construction

These hazmat response tools feature aluminum bronze alloy construction for a longer service life. Handles on the pliers use impact resistant and flame retardant insulation. The claw hammer's grip is fiberglass which is stronger and easier to clean than wood, with better vibration resistance.

Non-sparking safety tools are safer to use than steel, which can cause friction or impact sparks during normal use. Such fire protection is essential in locations where combustible/flammable solvents, fuels, gasses, or residues are present. This includes any number of potentially hazardous job fields such as propane distributors and plants, or armed forces munitions depots.

Non-magnetic tools are necessary to protect sensitive equipment like MRI during maintenance or repairs. They are also well suited for industrial and high technology applications, including electronics manufacturers and precision testing machinery.

Corrosion resistance is important in applications or environments where steel tools may deteriorate prematurely. This tool kit is more resistant than steel to the presence of solid, liquid and corrosive gases. This makes them a great option for laboratories, shipyard or marine sites, desalination and chemical manufacturing plants.

Lifetime warranty

All pieces in this hazmat response tool kit include a lifetime warranty. A free replacement or repair is available if any tool breaks or fails to perform during normal service (exceptions include defects through misuse, or, normal wear).

Safety and usage

  • This equipment is for use by hazmat teams and other trained first responder professionals only, including wildland firefighting, and EMS first aid crews.
  • Personal protective equipment must always be worn during hazmat incident response. This includes appropriate protective clothing such as coveralls, gloves and masks.
  • To reduce risk of injury or damage, only use these tools for their designed purpose during decontamination and clean up operations.
  • Tools with anti-static handles require grounding before use. Operating personnel's gloves and footwear must have conductive soles of leather or grounding straps.
  • Safety experts advise storing non-sparking tools separate to your standard steel tools.
  • We recommend you monitor and dress tool faces/heads as part of normal maintenance.
  • Keep tools clean and free from contaminates which may impact their non-spark properties.
  • To remove risks of explosive acetylides formation, this equipment must not come into direct contact with acetylene (especially in the presence of moisture).
